Apologies for the late posts but we have been very busy here at Stargazers Cottage providing more facilities!

As the photo above shows, we have finished building the garden astropier for our astro guests to use. You can either, bring your own mount and tripod to use in the garden, or you can place your mount head directly on the pier. However you can save yourself the hassle of lugging a heavy mount around if you wish to use our in house AZEQ6 mount instead – just let us know at the time of your booking.

In addition, we have also been improving our accommodation for the convenience of our guests.

Also we are currently completing the works to create a safe access leading down to our log cabin gamesroom, containing an American sized pool table amongst other facilities for our guests to enjoy.

We also have another Solarscope that guests can use. A generous birthday present from my wife Janet, it is the biggest aperture that Coronado make – a Solarmax 90II! I have always wanted one of these instruments after being lucky enough to get a look through one owned by my good friends Gary Palmer and Terry Ayling. The views truly are jawdropping!
