Still not sure if we can be of help? Check through some frequently asked questions and then send us a message.

Yes of course, in fact we encourage you to bring your own equipment, so we can advise and show you different and hopefully better ways to use your kit.

We also have a AZEQ6 mount available on a permanent pier in the garden for you to use if you don’t want to travel with a heavy mount. We have telescopes for use too.

Just ask us beforehand when you make your booking.

We are located in the countryside about a mile away from Godshill village as the crow flies. When the skies are clear we are usually blessed with transparent dark skies. However, there are some lights visible that you need to be aware of.

There are night time security lights that are just visible at our local farm. These are only a nuisance when its cloudy as it illuminates the clouds. Even taking this into account, our SQM registers 21.03 on most clear nights when the Moon is not around, so we feel this is not an issue

We have two neighbours nearby that, although far enough away, may use their car or house lights performing their normal night time activities. As these tend to be in the earlier times of the night, and also as astronomers tend to be out all night if the conditions are clear we feel that this again, is not an issue.

Absolutely! I am more than happy to assist, either visually to observe the night sky, or to help you capture your images. I can also offer one to one help with image processing.

Just enquire at the time of your booking for rate and prices

Our closest convenience store is the Co-op and it is located at Rookley about 3 miles away. It is open from 7am until 11pm 7 days a week, except Christmas day.

Further afield most of the big supermarkets are at your disposal in Newport, including Morrisons, Marks and Spencers, Asda and Lidl.

We are extremely fortunate that our closest pub is The Chequers Inn, located just under a mile away at the end of our lane. It takes about 25 minutes to walk there at an easy pace. A firm favourite with locals as well as families, its easy to see why, with its outdoor play area, countryside views and games room. The food is high quality, plus has a great selection of local ales and it is very spacious inside. We can highly recommend it personally and there are many favourable references to it within our guest reviews, see-

In Godshill there are two excellent pubs, The Taverners and The Griffin, both serve great food and drinks, see –

We have an entry on Tripadvisor if you’d rather book via their website – 5* rating!
