We are your hosts, Janet & John Slinn. Our primary goal is for you to have a wonderful holiday staying at Stargazers Cottage in the beautiful Isle of Wight

We knew we had found our forever home when we first saw the beautiful countryside surrounding the farmhouse. Easily visible is the pretty church of Godshill dominating the eastern skyline from the gardens, and is softly illuminated at night. This creates an epic spectacle, especially if your lucky enough to see it with the full Moon rising behind!

Stargazers Cottage is known as Dean Croft Cottage among our non astronomy guests. For more information see the website here-

We live right next door to Stargazers Cottage at Chestnut Farm which is convenient should you need anything. Nothing is too much trouble and we are happy to offer advice and help wherever we can, you only have to ask!

We have everything you need for a relaxing break and we pride ourselves on our clean comfortable cottage that can cater for 4 adults. You are assured of a good nights sleep courtesy of our wide comfortable beds, dark skies and countryside location.

Our rural location is also ideal for dog owners with many local bridleways and footpaths to explore and walk your doggies! Starting January 2020 we can cater for a maximum of two dogs per night for the modest cost of £5 per dog.

The large ensuite in the master bedroom and our bright family bathroom upstairs is a welcome relief after a day out exploring the island. We also have a fully equipped kitchen at your disposal where you can prepare and cook your meals, or alternatively, a local pub at the end of our lane.

We also have a large cot for up to age 6
